Young Israel of Elkins Park is blessed with Torah learning of the highest caliber.

Rabbi Brisman offers classes for both the beginner and those on a more advanced level. Shiurim include:

• Daily daf yomi shiur
  
  
• Weekly gemara shiur on Monday Nights
  
  
• Weekly shiur on seasonal topics held each week on Shabbat afternoon (one hour before minchah)
  
  
• Bi-weekly women's shiur on alternating Tuesday nights, (please check the minyan page for upcoming dates and times
  
  
• Series of b'iyun shiurim (please check the schedule for upcoming dates and times)

In addition, Wednesday evenings at Young Israel feature weekly visits from young Rabbis from Lakewood Yeshiva, who offer classes on traditional Jewish text. Come for a night out of learning, light refreshments, and friends!

Also, members and guests can partake in our new Avot U'Banim Program, where kids can come for Torah, friends, fun, and refreshments.

Other occasional learning programs are available in community through the Etz Chaim Center for Jewish Learning.
