Young Israel of Elkins Park is blessed with Torah learning of the highest caliber.

Rabbi Brisman offers classes for both the beginner and those on a more advanced level. Shiurim include:

• Daily daf yomi shiur [Click for a view of the Daf]
  
• Weekly gemara shiur on Monday Nights
  
• Weekly shiur held each week on Shabbat afternoon on the Haftarot (during the winter) or Pirkei Avot (during the summer)
  

Wednesday evenings feature weekly visits from rabbis from the Torah Links program and the Etz Chaim Center for Jewish Studies, who offer classes on traditional Jewish text as well as one on one (Chavruta) learning. Come for a night out of learning, light refreshments, and friends! Classes run from 8:30-9:30 pm.

• "The World of Prayer", with Rabbi Yaakov Schwartz
• "The Mitzvot In-Depth", with Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Kagan

We also offer a number of terrific programs for the younger set:

• Bnos program for girls, with Rebbetzin Brisman, held during Shabbat minchah services
• Mishnah Club, with Dan Robbins, held during Seudah Shlisheet on Shabbat afternoons
• Chumash Club, with Omid Niknam, held during Seudah Shlisheet on Shabbat afternoons
