Since its founding in 1980, Young Israel has grown to become a center of Orthodox Judaism in the Elkins Park area. The shul has daily minyanim, and offers a wide variety of shiurim in Torah study, as well as social activities. The community's warm and friendly atmosphere allows all who enter to feel comfortable and welcome. Under the guidance of Rabbi Dov Brisman, shlita, Young Israel has grown into a vibrant synagogue of people strongly committed to the growth and strengthening of Torah and mitzvos in Elkins Park and beyond.

Young Israel is situated in Elkins Park, in Eastern Montgomery County. While just 25 minutes away from Center City Philadelphia, Elkins Park offers all of the beauty and serenity of a pleasant suburban area.
